In the near future Bakaal plans to actively helping raise money for medical research, development of programs to help our young people in sport, business and improve life skills, sponsorship of sporting clubs and associations, not to mention funding of education and scholarship opportunities in the business and ICT fields.
Bakaal sponsored the first Melbourne Conference on Somalia 2009 at Melbourne University. This is a bi-annual conference and the next one is planned for Nov 2011.
Bakaal gave the Somali students in Australia and UK an opportunity to compete … by writing short essay. The winner of the first competition was Mohamed Hersi of Melbourne, Australia.… see photo. The next writing competition is scheduled for Nov 2011.
